  4. Is their any Hindi writing tool for Ubantu 15.04 from Googal ? I may have to shift to lousy Windows again just because Linux doesn’t have proper Hindi writing tool

  5. Thanks Nishant. This is a very intermittent problem and happens in a random way. I got cold sweats when out of 11 chapters translated, 2 chapters were garbled and small sections here n there in other chapters were also garbled.
This intermittent behaviour is faced by some other people also that i know of (and they used the tool online) unlike mine which is downloaded.
This makes Hindi IME a risky tool for large works.
I have sent a mail to google also which they have not responded over 1 week. If i hear from them, i will let you know.

  6. I use Hindi IME extensively. It is excellent, but i have one big problem. when i re open the saved word file, i see hindi which garbled. Garble in the sense that characters appear wrongly positioned. However if i copy and paste this may come up correctly. Similarly the printing is also majorly correct except for some small areas of the document.

Help me if you can. I am writing a book and facing this problem.

    • Hey Nitin,
Sorry I’m not a regular user of this tools but your issue seems related to your text editor. Sometime text editor takes time to load contents, font, font-style etc. So whenever you opening any document wait and let it open properly. I’m just guessing 🙂
      It shouldn’t be IME issue.

      Thanks

    • i also encountered same problem and could not solve it by any means. then i visited this site and got a idea from Nishant comment that it may be editor problem and not the IME. i was using MS word so i changed my editor to open office. now everything is fine. same file is displayed correctly. use open office instead of MS word. download it from http://www.openoffice.org/download/. it is free and no license required.

  7. AFTER EVERY RESTART I HAVE TO PASTE HINDI FONT TO FONT FOLDER FOR HINDI FONTS , PLEASE SUGGEST ANY PERMANENT SOLUTION FOR THIS ISSUE

  8. What has gone wrong? Pls help.

    • tray after restarting your system and reinstall IME tool, if you still face problem after following these advice please reply on my post and write your problem in detail.

      Regards
