Xiaomi mostly active and very popular in the budget segment with different series of phones, though the company has launched some really cool flagship phones under Mi Mix series. But, so far Mi Mix series and other high-end mobile phone series aren’t the devices which made the Xiaomi a brand with the biggest market share in India. The affordable and budget phones in sub 6K, 10K, and sub 15K established the company in India.

There are also phones like PocoPhone and Xiaomi Mi A series of Android smartphones which are doing well in the sub 20k segment. Still, there is space for good flagship phones which can compete with the flagship phones like OnePlus 7 Series and Asus 6z and other top-end phones from different brands; that’s how the Redmi K series came into the picture, Xiaomi has followed the same tested strategy that made the brand successful in the budget segment.

With the Redmi K series phones, Xiaomi will fill the space by launching the latest and top-notch feature-packed phones at an affordable price. However, Realme is not far behind the Redmi K20 with its X series phones. The Redmi K20 Pro is going to compete with the flagship phones especially OnePlus phones but I hope Xiaomi knows that they are missing a big point here.

OnePlus is a very successful brand now, not only because they are releasing phones with top-notch features and specs at a better price but also because they have the best software after Google Pixel phones. The stock Android-based operating system Oxygen OS by OnPlus is the best custom Android OS, some features of OnePlus phones are even better and ahead of Google’s own Pixel phones just because of its software.

MIUI on Xiaomi phones is also a very good Android-based operating system and it has a huge fan base but Xiaomi can not win a war with OnePlus with the MIUI. People like OnePlus for a reason and one of the most common and important reasons is its software.

So, to win this war, Xiaomi will have to invest in the OS as OnePlus had done in the past after losing the CyanogenOS. If Xiaomi is launching a phone with custom and enhanced stock Android like Oxygen OS then it will sweep the market and no one will stop it.
