Internet Download Manager shows “the server replies that you don`t have permission to download this file, details; HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden while downloading video from YouTube via Google Chrome.
I was facing this problem in Google Chrome, so I searched everywhere but none of the solutions helped me to fix this problem, and I started using Firefox to download flash videos, but I have received many queries on social media about this issue so I thought to give it one more try.
I have Googled and found different tips and tricks but most of them are worthless and I have reached to the conclusion that using the genuine application is the only way to appreciate the hard work the developers are doing to develop the amazing applications like Internet Download Manager.
Though I have found a few tricks that can make this work after doing some system tweaks and by installing the cracked version of the application. But, I think that could be a serious threat for your system and for your data. You should be knowing that by using the pirated software and applications, you are exposing your own safety and security.
So first remove the IDM completely from your system and get a licenced one from their official website to enjoy the hassle-free content downloading experience. If you already have the licensed IDM and still facing the problem then try this following method which may fix your issue.
- Open your browser Go to tools >> Clear browsing data > DO NOT choose the delete everything option (it can delete your saved password and other important data). Just deleted all browsing history, download history, cache and cookies. then I restarted your browser.
If erasing the browser data is not helping you then, you should contact to the IDM support team they will help you with the exact solution or may be an updated version of the IDM.
