HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones has launched the Nokia 3.1 a refreshed version of last year’s Nokia 3. The new Nokia 3.1 will offer access to the latest Google services, such as the Google Assistant, the smartphone continues to deliver a pure, secure and up-to-date Android experience with Android One, combined with the premium build and design that we all are expecting from the Nokia smartphones.

Last year launched Nokia 3 has been one of the most successful Nokia Android smartphones and the biggest franchise for HMD Global till now. The new Nokia 3.1 now forges a rich connection between materials with a stunning design and delivers the performance to match, making it more attractive than ever before.

The beautifully curved screen melts into the slim CNC’d aluminium sides with a dual diamond cut to deliver a perfect harmony of materials. Just the right size for single hand use, Nokia 3.1 has 5.2 inches HD+ 2.5D curved display with 18:9 aspect ratio it gives you a comfortable grip even if you holding it with one hand.

The Nokia 3.1 packed MediaTek MT6750 processor, MT6750 is an octa-core chipset, capable to give you twice the processor cores and a 50% performance boost on the previous generation. HMD Global has also upgraded the primary camera now it is 13 MP camera with autofocus whereas Nokia 3 had 8 MP primary camera.

I haven’t tested the Nokia 3.1 properly yet so can not comment on the camera quality or any other performances yet but the company is claiming that the Nokia 3.1 will be able to capture good-quality photos. The Nokia 3.1 lets you make the most out of popular AR apps like Pokémon Go and capture the whole scene with panoramic imaging.

All Nokia branded HMD Global phones are running the almost stock Android which is very good because by having the stock Android or nearly Stock Android the devices can get Google’s monthly software patches or all other software updates faster.

Nokia 3.1 joins the Android One family that means Nokia 3.1 buyers can expect the software updates faster than other Android mobile phones. HMD Global the company that owns the Nokia mobile phone brand has also confirmed that Nokia 3.1 will keep receiving monthly security as well as all Android OS updates till the next three years and two years respectively.
