Unboxing of Vivo V11 Pro, What’s in the Box?
The box and packaging of the Vivo V11 Pro are same as any other Vivo smartphones specially the same as the V series Vivo phones. Inside the box, you will get the Vivo V11 Pro handset, travel adapter, microUSB 2.0 cable, earphone with built-in mic, white transparent back cover, and a plastic screen guard already applied on the phone. Unboxing photos are below.
Vivo V11 Pro First Impression:
I have been using the device for the last couple of days and I really like the beautiful AMOLED display, its camera and the ultra-fast face unlock features. The overall design of the phone looks impressive however finishing is just average; the one I am reviewing is the Starry Night color variant with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
There are two color variants of Vivo V11 Pro as of Now, one is Starry Night and another is Dazzling Gold, both color variant looks very good but the one with blue & black gradient color which also called as Starry Night is really amazing, I just love it.
The front of Vivo V11 Pro is fully covered with the gorilla glass 3 and has teardrop notch at the top of the 6.41 inches full HD+ super AMOLED display and then right above the teardrop notch, there is the earpiece.
The rear panel and other most of the body parts are made up of the plastic; using plastic body makes the phone lighter and convenient to hold in hands.
The phone comes with the In-Display fingerprint scanner and a super fast IR assisted Face Unlock features as well but so far I have not used the fingerprint scanner much because its Face Unlock feature is so fast either in the low light or no light that I don’t even have to use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
Vivo is known for their selfie centric phones but in its recent phones, the company is also improving and focusing on the rear or primary camera of the phone. You can take some really good photos with the 12+5 MP dual rear camera with the default settings but if you want the complete control on camera features then there is the Professional mode which allows you set the shutter speed, ISO, White Balance etc. manually. There is a 25 MP front camera to take selfies, front camera doesn’t have the LED flash or the Moonlight flash that Vivo phones used to have but it has screen flash which is basically the max display brightness; when the flash is enabled for front camera and you taking selfies in dark light or the low light the screen will go completely white with yellow tint and full brightness and that gives the decent amount of light on your face to take good selfies in the low light scenarios. Vivo V11 Pro is running the Functouch 4.5 OS based on Android 8.1, Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB DDR4x RAM is able to give the smooth and glitch-free performance so far. There is one feature that I wanted to mention before we jump to the price and availability and that is Quick Charge which Vivo is calling the “Dual Engine Quick Charge”. Having a quick charge on your phone can make your life easier by saving your time and energy to charge the phone. I haven’t tested it very precisely but I have noticed that Quick Charge on Vivo is charging roughly 60% of its 3400 battery in approx 35 minutes which is almost as good as the Dash Charge on OnePlus phones.
In my next post about the Vivo V11 Pro, I will share the detailed reviews about the phone with more camera samples and benchmark scores.
