Following the footprints of companies like Oppo and Huawei, Xiaomi has decided to launch a new flagship mobile phone in India but with a new brand name called PocoPhone, PocoPhone F1 will be the first phone under this brand name.
There is no doubt about the popularity of Xiaomi specially the Redmi series phones, we can also say that Xiaomi Redmi phones are ruling the budget smartphone market in India, but the company is still struggling in the higher segment. Xiaomi may be the king of under 20k segment but when you look above the 20k price segment the Chinese company is still struggling there. In my opinion, neglecting the Indian market and always delaying the release of flagship phones in India is one of the main reason behind this.
Xiaomi is releasing good devices in China but they are taking too much time to bring it to the Indian market and there are also some very good phones and accessories which they never launched in India, and then the supply problem.
It’s not just about the demand its also about the supply so if you are seeing the Xiaomi phones are always out of stock, it doesn’t mean that high demand for their phones are the only reason another reason is poor supply; either Xiaomi is doing it intentionally to make the hype or maybe they are still incapable to fulfil the demand of their products.
PocoPhone is expected to start a new race among the flagship phones or higher segment, the Xiaomi PocoPhone will have direct competition with the well-established brands like OnePlus, Honor, Asus, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo etc.
The PocoPhone F1 is expected to be the blazing fast mobile phone, at least this is what the company is trying to show with their ads and teasers of the phone. Price, Release Date and Availability of PocoPhone F1:
Xiaomi has the reputation to release the products with the super competitive price tags which also the USP of the company since PocoPhone is a new brand and F1 is the very first product under this brand we can expect even more competitive price tags. According to the news and rumours, the starting price of Xiaomi PocoPhone F1 could be Rs. 23,000. The price of the top variant with the 8 GB RAM could go around 30k Indian Rupees.
The PocoPhone F1 will be Flipkart exclusively, which means it will available only on Flipkart but I just hope that it would not be like other Xiaomi products which are always out of stock and available only via a flash sale. Since this is a new sub-brand, hope Xiaomi will make sure its availability in stock and will not be too tough for the customers who are interested in buying this phone.
