Chrome Toolbox, a popular Chrome extension developed by Google itself, has lately been enhanced to bring this missing feature to Chrome. Earlier, we had published a post about Chrome Toolbox for Google Chrome on Windows 7 Click here to read that post.
Currently, this plugin isn’t working on Windows 8 systems. It may be due to some security or compatibility issues happening with Windows 8. This extension requires accessing all data on your computer, it has used an NPAPI plugin to support features like double-click to close a tab; but, accessing the data and system changes by any third party application is being blocked by the Windows 8.
So it’s better to wait till Google or Microsoft fix this issue or launch any other similar extension.
