Google has officially launched the Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel Slate tablet, and Google Home Hub at the “Made By Google” 2018 event in New York. We were knowing almost everything about this year’s MadeByGoogle Android Mobile phones. Google Pixel 3/3 XL mobile phones got leaked by the different sources not only the images and specs but also a complete unboxing videos.
Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are the third generations of Google Pixel series mobile phones which are being designed and developed by the Google, you may not find much difference among the design of all pixel smartphones launched yet but Pixel has evolved a lot for the Camera and Software experience point of view.
There are minor changes in the overall design and looks of the Pixel 3 in comparison with its predecessor Pixel 2 which is looking very good in pictures at least but when I am looking at the photos and videos of Pixel 3 XL it sucks. I hate the notch and there are many others who do not like the notch, I accept that there are also many smartphone users who like the notch so basically, it depends on the one’s preferences but I am just wondering is it necessary to do what other brands or companies are doing with the design.
Its been a year now when Apple has introduced iPhone X with the notch and after that, almost every single mobile phone brands have released phones with the notch in all budget segments but is that necessary that Company like Google should also do the same thing even after the year when Apple has launched next generation of iPhone X series.
Some Chinese Android smartphone brands like Xiaomi Oppo, Vivo, are experimenting with the design and introducing new ways to increase the screen to body ratio or reduce the bezels for example phones like Oppo Find X, Vivo Nex, Vivo V11 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Mix2 and even the recently launched budget phone like RealMe 2 Pro is having the beautiful waterdrop notch instead of the regular iPhone X type notch. Google owns the Android, it should act like trendsetter not the follower of some one-year-old design from some other brand, Google devices should be more innovative than any other Android Mobile phones.
Thankfully Pixel 3 is not having any notch and looks way better than the Pixel 3 XL and its predecessor Pixel 2. There will be the three color variants of Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL which are Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink colors.

If you know the camera quality of Pixel phones specially Picture quality of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL then you can understand easily that Pixel phones can do wonders even with a single camera lens. Google Pixel phones can easily compete with the other phones launched by other brands with two, three, or even with the four camera lenses. (Pixel 3 XL camera sample below)
Google has proved this with the Pixel 2 that the number of megapixels and number of lenses is not the only way to produce a better picture quality but it can also be done using the proper optimization on the software level. Last year Google had launched the Pixel 2 and it became the highest DxOMark scorer at that time with a score of 98. The DxOMark score of Pixel 2 is still ahead of many premium phones with dual cameras, some of them are OnePlus 6, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S etc.
So we can expect even better camera output and hopefully a new record DxOMark score of Pixel 3 as well. Till now everyone who has reviewed and had a chance to hands on the new Google Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL phones are praising the display and picture quality of Pixel 3 and 3XL.
The Verge – “Google has built the best display its Pixel line has ever seen.”
Google has added some new and unique features on its new Pixel series smartphones, some of them are “Call Screen”, which will allow the Google Assistant to screen your calls to let you know who’s calling (unfortunately, this will only for the US variants), Duplex call assistant, and the camera of Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL comes with a photo booth mode that will automatically take shots when you “make faces”.
With the Google Assistant baked into Pixel 3, our new AI-powered Call Screen feature goes even further to help people in the U.S. screen calls and avoid spam calls. #madebygoogle pic.twitter.com/l1Oe2vyA93 rel=”no-follow”
